In the beginning of each year, Mass-ALA publishes our popular Resource Guide. The Mass-ALA Assisted Living Resource Guide is a user-friendly list of the certified Massachusetts assisted living residences that are part of Mass-ALA’s membership. The guide includes useful information on selecting an assisted living community, as well as frequently asked questions, financing information, a consumer checklist etc. The back section of the guide contains a glossary of terms and all Mass-ALA individual members, and business partners that offer various services listed by profession.

The Executive Office of Aging & Independence Consumer Guide was created to help individuals and families considering assisted living, including for those with memory loss, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. This guide includes general advice for selecting an assisted living residence as well as information about Alzheimer’s disease, memory loss and dementia, and provides resources to help you as your search for an assisted living residence progresses.
